Quantum Harmonics

Having worked as a sound engineer, music composer and musicologist for more than 35 years, I have spent many of those years searching for those frequencies, sounds and harmonics that effected the human body both physically and emotionally.  It is the music, sound or element of sound that can easily trigger the neural response that sets off a string of events in the body associated with being well or being dis-eased.   I began to realize that there was a correlation between the way the body felt after a vibrational experience and what happened physically durring and after deep meditation. I learned that certain frequencies related to specific audible notes.  For example, the area at the base of the spinal cord, (coccyx or tail bone) resonates with the note C2 on the piano, a frequency of 130.813 hz.

All major organs, bloodstream, bones, cells, molecules and atoms of the human body vibrate at a specific frequency.  At a cellular level, when all of the parts of the body are vibrating at their optimum frequency, in perfect harmony, we are healthy.  When they are not, we experience dis-harmony, or dis-ease.

The best example of this is to think of the body as a piano.  When all of the strings of the piano are tuned perfectly, all anyone needs to do is sit down and strike two or three notes, anywhere on the keyboard, and let them ring.  What you will experience is a perfect symphony of harmonic tones.  Over time, if a piano is not maintained properly, some of the strings will become out of tune from their perfect frequency.  Hit those same two or three notes on the piano, and the result is dissonance, or discord.  the reason for this lies in the field of energy one note makes to another.  In other words if you are in close proximity to a certain type of vibration that is not in harmony with your own vibrational frequencies your body & mind will become . (Like sitting under the frequency of flouresent lights all day) you may have noticed you feel drained and out of sorts.

disease (plural diseases)

    1.    (pathology) An abnormal condition of the body or mind that causes discomfort or dysfunction; distinct from injury insofar as the latter is usually instantaneously acquired.

In beginning to understand QH we must first realize that we are actually dealing with cause and effect. What ever the underlying cause of disease might be, determines the effect it has on ones physical and mental wellbeing. If we look at the effect or disfunction  we see that it is mostly determined by the cause.  cause is greatly by resonance of our surrounding energy. One's environment is the catalyst for all of the positive or negative resonance between our physical and mental environment and the effect of those energies as we resonate with it. Much like the piano strings one string resonates in harmony or discord.

Think of the Body like a piano….

The strings of the piano are arranged, in various lengths to form groups of 12 tones that make up a single octave of notes.

When a note on a piano is played, the metallic strings vibrate at a specific frequency.  Simultaneously, the energy created by these vibrations cause a resonant or sympathetic vibration in lower and higher octaves.  As example, striking a middle-C note on the piano results in a resonant stimulation of both a higher and lower octave C notes as well.  Additionally, a sympathetic resonance is activated in harmonically similar notes and quantized frequencies between these octaves that vibrate in exact intervals, such as thirds, fourths,, fifths, etc.  These are asymmetrically pleasing intervals that resonate positively with similar frequencies of the human body.  Because there are an infinite number of octaves of vibrational frequencies both above and below our range of hearing ,in many cases, these sympathetic frequencies are harmonically so low, or so high that they cannot be heard through the auditory cortex.  However, they can be sensed or felt, as inaudible vibrations.

All of these theories have been around for a long time.  Only now, through digital technology we able to record and play back the harmonics of frequencies that were truncated in the days of analog recording.  In the not too distant past, low frequencies were rolled off or significantly diminished at 15-18 Hz and 24-28 KHz in the high frequencies.  Now we know that CD-quality sample rates in digital recording are 44.1 KHz which is more than double the human hearing capacity of 20 KHz. This means that we now have more than twice the harmonic “recording” or sampling capability than we ever had before.  The similar effect happens on the lower octaves.  We are able to record low frequencies that are able to be felt only as vibrations.  As an example… before digital recording, the only way to “feel” a large drum being played was to stand in front of it and feel the vibration as it was struck.  Now, through the science of digital replication of sounds, we can sample an infinite range of frequencies that are well above and below our human capability to hear.

When digital recording was first introduced to the scene, many were resistant to the change.  Recording “purists” felt that digitally recorded tracks sounded odd, and they had trouble getting used to the unique sound of digital recording.  This resistance was likely the result of the fact that, the integrity of digital recording, and the unrestricted frequency range of harmonics captured through digital technology, one was exposed to a wide range of harmonics that simply were not there before. In analog recording, the signal to noise ratio masked the clarity of harmonics, both low and high.  Because we had become accustomed to these limitations, the first digital recordings seemed to sound unreal to us.  In fact, just the opposite was true.  Vibrationally they are more true and exact. This difference can be more easily understood when we think of the technology of television.  Most of us had become quite accustomed to watching analog televisions.  When the new High Definition programming became available, many people thought that the pictures were too crisp, and didn’t look real.  However, those of us who switched to HD viewing soon learned that when we viewed our television in analog mode, the picture looked fuzzy and out of focus.  In fact, this was the very picture that we had been viewing with great pleasure before we were introduced to HD.

Quantum

The minimum unit of any physical entity involved in an interaction.  From the world quantus, which means “how much?”

Harmonics

Overtones of a root frequency in quantized intervals

The science of Quantum Harmonics is the use of  audio frequencies and their related harmonics to resonate with the frequencies of the human body.
